Many times during its fifty year history as a premier designer consignment boutique, Act II and owner Gloria Everhart have been spotlighted by the media. Gloria, past Regional Director of Fashion Group International, has been called upon numerous times for comments and opinions regarding both fashion and resale boutiques. Act II has frequently been the focus of articles appearing in The Kansas City Star, The Independent and other area publications. National recognition has come most recently from The New York Times (NYTimes.com.) Gloria’s remarks and Act II have also been seen in Women’s World and Good Housekeeping magazines.
 
Act II’s media exposure is not limited to print articles. Kansas City TV stations have taken note of the store’s success as well. A recent KMBC Channel 9 News report about bargain shopping featured Act II and Gloria, as did another recent segment produced by Fox4KC News at station WDAF.
